Drew and Ellie were six months old on November 8th. I cannot believe we’ve been at this for half of a year. Parts of it have gone fast, parts of it were not fast. To commemorate their half birthday, here are 10 fun facts about each of them. Ladies first:
Ellie Bellie Boo:
10. She just learned how to pat things with her little hand, and she likes to pat, pat, pat really gently on our faces.
9. When she’s laying on her belly, she blows raspberries on the floor and laughs at herself.
8. She has a shrill, forceful cry that stops immediatly when she gets what she wants. She knows how to get our attention!
7. When you hand Ellie a toy, she delicately places all ten fingers around it and looks at it with extreme focus.
6. She will find and play with the tag on even the fanciest of toys.
5. She is starting to sleep with a fuzzy, yellow duck. It’s one of those silky blanket with an animal head thingys. She sucks on it’s beak.
4. She has been sitting up for almost a month, yet refuses to roll.
3. When she is upset, she scoots backwards across the floor by arching her back and pushing with her feet.
2. Her smile lights up her whole face.

Drewbaly Drew:
10. He can roll all over the place and has started to figure out that it’s fun to try to play with electrical cords, remotes, and cell phones.

8. His cry is extremely high pitched and whiny. We love it…most of the time.
7. He sucks on his first two fingers on his left hand.
6. He can army crawl across the room and is even starting to rock back and forth on his knees.
5. He sleeps in a little heap in bed and rolls all over his crib.

We spent last week in Nebraska. James traveled Monday through Friday, so Drew, Ellie, and I spent the week with my family. We had a great time and wore ourselves out! We got to see Addi dedicated at church and did fun stuff with Grandma and Grandpa all week. Nana, Papa and GG (Great Grandma Janzen) all got to squeeze the babies.
