Harris House

We had a great long weekend. Saturday we swam with Paige and Rob at the Canfield pool. Drew was really into the water, and Ellie just wanted to chase the dog.  It was a cloudy, hot day and miraculously, we put the babies down for a nap and the sun came out! We got to lay out sans kids for 2 hours!   Sunday we had the whole extended Harris clan over for a rainy bbq.   Monday was a treat for me. Paige and I went to Tulsa to see Calley. We got to hold her friends’ 3 week old twin boys and (hopefully) pass on a little encouragement to hang in there!  Then we got to lay out again for a couple hours. It was wonderful to catch up with Cal and to have a day to get away and relax.  James had a fun day with the kids, and I even came home to a picked up house and a mopped kitchen floor. I am truly spoiled! 

 And to add one more fun thing to a great weekend, I went out with my church friends to celebrate my birthday (again!).  Love these girls!

May is a jammed packed month for us!  Drew and Ellie’s birthday will always be close to Mother’s Day, followed up quickly by my birthday.  James has a lot to remember, and he is one amazing guy!  He gave me a gift on D & E’s birthday, a gift on Mother’s Day, a gift and surprise date night for my birthday, invited friends over for dinner, and cooked and cleaned. Thanks James!
